Born in Northampton in 1963, Matthew is a plein painter of landscapes in oil, mostly painting the countryside around his home, in Wollaston. He is also regularly seen painting the Suffolk coast, a region that has a special place in his heart.
Matthew is a member of the World Federation of Supreme Hairdressers and has a salon in Olney, Bucks. He splits his time between painting and hairdressing.
Matthew has shown his work in high-profile galleries such as John Noott and Michael Savage. His works are now held in private collections around the world.
